In addition to be being a Fine Artist Steph Slate also trains Jiu Jitsu. She owns and operates Chokehold Jiu Jitsu where she designs and prints grappling gear and art inspired by her musical taste of punk and metal.

 

Most designs begin as a woodblock print. Slate uses WCKD Lady Studio to print woodblocks and silkscreen shirts and other apparel.
